Principle 5:  Pre-marital Sex is not the will of God for your life

When I have sex outside of marriage, I set myself up for curses and a defeated life.  In addition, I develop a “soul tie” with the individual..

Ephesians 5:3
But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints.

Principle 10:  Rebellion
Rebellion causes God's extreme wrath and judgment against me.  When one rebels or takes part in group rebellion, he, she, or they have just been set up for assassination by the enemy!!!  There are several examples in the bible where persons were removed from earth or had to suffer greatly because of rebellion!!!

Romans 13:1-2 or 1 Samuel 15:23

Rebellion occurs when a person:
a) Doesn't submit to leadership or eldership (i.e. household, work, school, governmental, or Christian ministry)
b) Refuses to follow policies, procedures, or instructions immediately (continued forgetfulness or procrastination is also a form of rebellion)
c) Questions authority or leadership (Always asks "why??")
d) Knowingly or unknowingly speaks or comes against leadership or ministry by thought, words, or deeds.

e) Doesn't cast down thoughts that don't line up with the Word, as well as operates out of emotion in order to hinder the progress of Christian Ministry or any type of organization.

f) Doesn't follow the directions and "unction" of the Holy Spirit.

Principle 13: God blesses obedience and curses disobedience

Scriptures:  Deuteronomy 28:15-68: "But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commands and His statues which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you………."

The bible says that we are God's chosen people, a royal priesthood, and the righteousness of God.  We have these titles because we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior.  Since we have this title, this means that we are Christ's representatives here on earth.

God's word says in Ephesians 1 that we have all spiritual blessings that pertain to life and godliness.  The only way that blessings are released from the Spirit Realm is through Obedience and Sowing Seeds to reap a harvest.  Obedience causes us to constantly walk under God's continued blessings, while disobedience to the spoken and written word of God causes us to walk under God's continued curses.

God's blessing is the ability or empowerment to prosper, while curses are the ability or empowerment to fail!!!!  The bible says that you choose whether you will have blessings or curses depending on your actions.  If you want blessings, then you'll have to make your mind and your flesh conform to the Word of God.

 Principle 14: Casting down Thoughts

Scripture:  2 Corinthians 10:5:  ....casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.

We as Christians have an advantage!!!!  Our fights against persons, etc. are not flesh (in the natural), but in the spirit!!!  Our fight is with the enemy in the spirit realm. As a believer, we are always victorious as long as we are filled with the Holy Spirit, obedient, and are giving to God.

As stated before, the enemy will always attack you.  The enemy attacks us 1st in the mind.  He will put thoughts in our head that do not line up with the word so that we will get off God's track or plan for our life.  It is our job to cast down all thoughts verbally that the enemy places in our head so that he will flee.  Say this when a thought pops up "Satan I bind you and I cast down that thought which doesn't line up with the written and spoken word of God".

Principle 18: Fasting, A Key to Hearing Clearly From the Lord

Scripture:  Daniel 9:3  “Then I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes”.

Fasting is voluntarily abstaining from food for spiritual purposes.  In Jesus' public ministry, he fasted from food for 40 days and 40 nights (Matthew 4:2).  Fasting has been regularly practiced by God's people in the Old and New Testatments.

Fasting does the following:
1) Humbles the soul (mind, will, emotions) or flesh of the believer.
2) Allows the believer to center on God by denying their fleshly desires.  {It takes the focus off self and onto God}
3) Brings the believer into the supernatural presence of God.
4) Allows the believers "spirit" {the believer's inner man or spirit man} to rise, flesh to crumble, thereby the believer can "hear" clearly from the Lord.  Spirit to spirit!!
5) Fasting destroys the bondages and yokes of satan.
